You don't need lessons.
You don't need to record yourself.
You don't need swing aids or other tools.

"But Wes, if it's that simple, why is golf a $70-$80 billion industry?"
Ahhh...great question that has a two-part answer:
1) It's hard to read the label from inside the bottle.
What I mean by that is, when you're doing the thing, you can't see yourself doing the thing, and you rarely do the thing as well as you think you're doing the thing, but you think you know what you're doing, so you don't ask for or accept feedback or help.
2) "We do not rise to the level of our expectations; we fall to the level of our training." (A Greek poet soldier by the name of Archilochus penned that almost 2,700 years ago.)
Since you know you have not trained as much as you needed to, what you tell yourself as you prepare to do the thing, i.e., your internal dialogue, is much more negative than positive, which takes a heck of a lot of effort to overcome.
This is NORMAL!
